The date of December 25th
probably originated with the ancient "birthday" of the son-god, Mithra, a pagan
deity whose religious influence became widespread in the Roman Empire during the first few
centuries A.D. Mithra was related to the Semitic sun-god, Shamash, and his worship spread
throughout Asia to Europe where he was called Deus Sol Invictus Mithras. Rome was
well-known for absorbing the pagan religions and rituals of its widespread empire. As
such, Rome converted this pagan legacy to a celebration of the god,
Saturn, and the rebirth of the sun god during the winter solstice period. The
winter holiday became known as Saturnalia and began the week prior to
December 25th. The festival was characterized by gift-giving, feasting, singing and
downright debauchery, as the priests of Saturn carried wreaths of evergreen boughs in
procession throughout the Roman temples.

of glass, when Yahshua brought along the crowns and with his own right hand placed them on
our heads. He gave us harps of gold and palms of victory. Here on the sea of glass the
144,000 stood in a perfect square. Some of them had very bright crowns, others not so
bright. Some crowns appeared hung with stars, while others had but few. All were perfectly
satisfied with their crowns. And they were all clothed with a glorious white mantle from

1 Kings 7:23 And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
Solomons sea was symbolic of the heavenly sea of glass the 144,000 stand upon, showing the enormous size of the heavenly in contrast with the earthly.
Revelation 12: And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
Genesis 1:14 And Elohim said, Let the lights
in the firmament of the heavens separate the day from the night; and they will be
for signs and for seasons, (feasts - moeds 4150) , and for days and for years.
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the

The Woman of Revelation 12 is the remnant who keeps the commandments of Yah and has the faith of Yahshua, and all moedim established by his timing system of the sun moon and stars which these moedim also include the seventh day sabbath of Leviticus 23:2-4 linking the seventh day sabbath as part of the feasts, all timed by the moon. (with the moon under her feet- her foundation she stands upon)
The Roman calendar has left off the moon in its calculations, check calendar in your encyclopedias.
Do you say " when in Rome do as the Romans" ? Are your woship moedim's established by Yahweh's creation calendar or by pope Gregory's namesake calendar?

Scripture scanned below has a reading for the last Sabbath of the moon, "Sabbath immediately preceeding New Moon" the fourth Sabbath is on the 29th day of the moon. The four 7th day Sabbaths of each moon falls on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of the lunar month, month a word derived from "moon".
